decrepit has the UN system
become under Antonio Guterres,
in this case due to Guterres?
Today's example is again from
the Office of the High
Commission for Human Rights,
to which Guterres appointed
his unqualified crony Volker
Turk more than two years ago.

Sudan is a real drama that requires a real High Commissioner for Human Rights not a hypocrite.What Volker Turk does not say is that OHCHR presence in Sudan consists of two human rights officers while 48 more are cozily living in Nairobi. His previous representative (a D2) was the first one to leave the country, his staff and the victims when the conflict stated. Turk’s current representative, a D1 and a long time favorite of Maarit Kohonen Sheriff, enjoys a luxury life in Nairobi along with 96% of her staff. In the meantime Volker Turk warns the World from Geneva where he has spent most of his career as an apparatchik, wasting field funds for his new fiasco in the making, his Global Alliance (his recycled UDHR75). How many millions that Volker Turk does not have will be wasted this time? How many staff will lose their jobs so that Turk’s cleptocracy remain? OHCHR staff jokes on whether El Obeid, Goma or Kharkiv will be declared human rights cities by Volker Turk. We do not know whether this is blindness, hypocrisy or just narcissism. Today OHCHR is a sad joke, an insult to the victims of human rights violations and a reflect of Guterres’ UN. Master and puppet must go. Cronies must go. Amb Waltz, the
ball is on your court." Fat chance. So far,
nothing from Mike Waltz,
previously seen skydiving in
France then on a lone Sunday
show on CBS, unannounced -
self-booked? Now he has
blithely signed the UN
Charter. July 4, after selfies
on the ships in the harbor,
how much did he pay in US
taxpayers' money for the UN
roof? Delays on FOIA.
Meanwhile both Big Tony and
Amina junketed on April 15 to
the IMF which Inner City Press

which it asked questions - but
not of Tony, as UNCTAD denied

with no reason at all given.
