Man From Uzbekistan with Hepatitis B Detained By ICE FIles Habeas Corpus Petition in SDNY

SDNY COURTHOUSE, July 18 รข€“ A man from Uzbekistan who was detained by ICE filed a habeas corpus petition in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, where Inner City Press found it. 

  The petition says he suffers from Hepatitis B which has worsened in detention. "

 Part 1 Judge Ronnie Abrams issued a stay of removal. "He fears transfer will further compromise his access to medical care."

   Part 1 Judge Ronnie Abrams on Saturday July 18 signed a stay of removal, and that he should remain in SDNY, EDNY or the District of New Jersey.

The case is Matlobov v. Mullin, et al., 1:26-cv-6101 (Unassigned)
