Duo Charged with 4 Kilos of Fentanyl and 13 of Meth Detained Now Indicted in SDNY by Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Book Substack SDNY COURTHOUSE, July 27 – Two men charged with preparing to sell 13 kilos of meth and four kilos of fentanyl were presented one after the other on July 15 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Inner City Press was there.   For the first defendant presented, the US Attorney's Office offered release on bond. But when the defendant who is named first in the complaint appeared, the prosecutor sought detention, and the defense consented (without prejudice to making an application later).   The complaint has photos of the drugs seized. On July 27 the case was indicted and assigned to Judge Lewis J. Liman.   The case is now USA v. Mendivil, et al., 1:26-cr-321 (Liman) *** Your support means a lot.
