Man with 6 US Citizen Children Detained by ICE in 26 Fed  Files Habeas in SDNY by Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Book Substack SDNY COURTHOUSE, Sept 22 – A man with six US citizen children was detained by ICE in 26 Federal Plaza when he responded to an ICE notice. He filed a habeas corpus petition in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, where Inner City Press found it.   The petition says he was detained on September 23 - the day after it was filed. It candidly notes that Counsel for petitioner prepared this petition in an emergent posture and therefore apologizes in advance for any typographical or citation errors. Petitioner will file an amended petition.   This petition does not say where the petitioner is from. [Inner City Press, before being banned from the UN, new an Ivorian diplomat named Bamba].
