As UN Bans Inner City Press for 3084th Day Silent on Huawei and Alleged Criminal at DESA

As UN Bans Inner City Press for 3084th Day Silent on Huawei and Alleged Criminal at DESA

UN GATE, Sept 29 – Inner City Press remains banned from UN Headquarters since July 2018, with no hearing and no appeal, and its July 25, 2026 application to enter in person and ask questions was summarily denied on September 29, after Inner City Press asked the questions below. Until then, it had drawn no response to date from either Secretary-General Guterres' office or the U.S. Mission, despite Ambassador Michael Waltz's own "Make the UN Great Again" rhetoric.

Submitted on the morning of Sept 29, 2026 to UN spokespeople, Stephane Dujarric, Antonio Guterres, Amina J. Mohammed, Melissa Fleming, et al:

To the Investigative Editorial Team, This transmission provides an exclusive, documentarily airtight investigative lead detailing high-level background fraud, recruitment manipulation, and executive non-adjudication at the United Nations Headquarters Secretariat in New York. The Financing for Sustainable Development Office (FSDO) under the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA)—the precise division tasked with driving global financial integrity and international tax cooperation—is currently harboring an international criminal fugitive as a senior advisor. Dr. Muhammad Ashfaq Ahmed, who joined the UN in January 2026, has been actively facing a criminal trial in Pakistan since 2024. He is a formal accused facing outstanding, active Non-Bailable Warrants (NBWs) of Arrest issued by the Additional Sessions Court, Faisalabad, for the material forgery of valuable securities under Sections 467 and 477 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC), carrying a maximum statutory penalty of Imprisonment for Life. Crucially, the final judgment of the Honourable Supreme Court of Pakistan in C.P.L.A. No. 4205/2024, confirming the judgment of the Federal Service Tribunal (FST) in Appeal No. 585(R)/CS/2022, affixes the final seal on the criminal mens rea of Muhammad Ashfaq Ahmed, cementing it as a factually established offense and the absolute final word on his crime. The resultant ongoing criminal trial in the Court of Sessions stems directly from these unassailable judicial determinations. To secure his employment with the United Nations Secretariat, Dr. Ahmed deliberately executed a fraudulent declaration on his official Form P-11 (Personal History Profile) by completely concealing his ongoing criminal record, the active Sessions Court trial, and his status as a fleeing culprit. He subsequently crossed international boundaries to the United States solely to evade his criminal indictment and physical arrest. Following my formal submissions, the UN Office of Internal Oversight Services (OIOS) has officially opened an active investigation under Case No. 1481/2026 regarding this severe background fraud. Despite the unassailable judicial proof, the live case number, and the Supreme Court's final seal on his guilt, the UN Executive Office continues to provide administrative cover to this fugitive."

AGAIN: Please immediately explain why I was blocked at UN's 47 Street gate despite a confirmed invitation to event "In Defense of International Law" - The Hague Group told me DSS had "pushed back" and asked for a scan of my passport, but to come - then DSS blocked me, would not say why, said to reach back out this week but I already applied to MALU on July 25 - please immediately explain

Sept 29-1a: On surveillance of dissidents and others, what are the comments and actions if any of SG Guterres on UN Global Compact member Huawei and these activities, with states speaking in the UNGA High Level Week he is banning Inner City Press from? Kenya — Site of Africa's first Huawei "Safe City" deployment, in Nairobi in 2014, installed before Kenya had any data protection law (enacted 2019); Huawei's own claimed 46% crime-rate reduction was contradicted by Kenya's own National Police Service crime statistics. Serbia — Huawei's "Safe City Belgrade" video surveillance deployment, discussed in depth earlier in this project's own FOIA request to Serbia's Ministry of Interior. Iran — Huawei has faced sustained scrutiny over technology sales to Iran despite U.S. sanctions, including reported surveillance and censorship-enabling equipment used by Iranian authorities; this is distinct from, but related to, the Meng Wanzhou Iran-sanctions case Inner City Press is live tweeting in Federal court in Brooklyn.

Sept 29-2: On Morocco what are the comments and action if any of SG Guterres and separately of France ONU / PR Bonnafont and UNUS / PR Waltz on this: the mayor of Tangier, in the north of the country, was arrested on Monday, September 28. According to Moroccan authorities, Mounir Limouri, a member of the PAM party which won the most seats in the last parliamentary elections, was the subject of an arrest warrant as part of the investigation into electoral irregularities in favor of the Authenticity and Modernity Party

After the briefing, attended by a UN Correspondent who did a fundraiser with Ghislaine Maxwell, nothing - not even an acknowledgment of receipt.

Days previous: What inquiry if any did the UN do after the conviction of Ghislaine Maxwell for sex trafficking, and Amir Dossal's service as 1 of 5 people on her Terramar Foundation's board? On what basis does Mr. Dossal (unlike Inner City Press which reports on sex trafficking and the UN) have access to the UN, for example yesterday at Ivonne A-Baki's stakeout? What was his role there, and in her team? What type of UN entrance pass does Mr. Dossal have?

Inner City Press will continue to ask these questions daily, and to report the silence when that is the answer. Watch this site.
