WHO Denies Delaying COVID Info For Xi But UN Lied 6 Years On Taking Cholera To Haiti

UN GATE / SDNY COURT, Jan 4 – The World Health Organization has issued a denial, which Inner City Press published minutes after issuance, that China's Xi Jinping "personally asked WHO to hold back information about human to human transmission and delayed the global response for four to six weeks" at the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak, sourced to German intelligence by Der Spiegel.

   Inner City Press published WHO's denial first, noting that other questions about the current UNMISS Mission in South Sudan spreading COVID-19 with its admittedly lax practices (on which it and UNSG Antonio Guterres have refused Press questions) and WHO giving Cameroon's Paul Biya 14 luxury vehicles remain unanswered.

   But there a more fundamental problem or context to UN system denials, particularly on questions of deadly diseases.

    The UN lied for SIX YEAR about having brought cholera to Haiti. In the UN briefing room in New York, Inner City Press in person asked Guterres' spokesman Stephane Dujarric more than a dozen times about it, and Dujarric each time denied it, on UN video that he and Melissa Fleming now refuse to give to the Press. 

  Tellingly, even when denial became untenable, no one in the UN was ever disciplined for all the lies. Dujarric is still Guterres spokesman, now lying about COVID-19 and the UN system's role this time on Zoom since the UN has closed its headquarters other than allow Guterres' guard to continue to collectively use their gym there.

  And while for weeks now Inner City Press has sought answers from WHO, by email and raising its Zoom hand, nothing (except Tedros' lawyer about Taiwan.)

   So this UN system has no credibility, and continue to censor to try to hide its tracks. We'll have more on this.

Faux Expose of UNRWA Goes Light On Guterres And So Gets Dujarric Answer and Office Space

UNITED NATIONS GATE, July 29 – Today a faux expose of part of the UN's corruption but not that of UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres has dropped - and we use that word advisedly - in two publications, one of which works with Guterres to get the investigative Press roughed up and thrown out of the UN. 

The faux expose concerns UNRWA and the murky travel budget of its Director General - without a single mention of the entirely untransparent and more expensive budget of Guterres, and his concealing through censorship of that and his financial links to convicted UN briber CEFC China Energy. 

Perhaps for that reason, Guterres' long vacationing spokesman Stephane Dujarric delivered up an answer for the story to one to whom, despite virtually never being at the UN except to work with Xinhua on a fraudulent prize this faux expose is probably timed to get, he and Guterres give office space along with the grateful answers. 

  Here's Dujarric from late June but only published yesterday and today (Dujarric has been on vacation in France for all of July, refusing Inner City Press questions including on UNRWA) - "As he has shown in the past, the Secretary-General is committed to acting swiftly upon receiving the full report." There is no comment after this, no mention that Guterres travels more, and more murkily, and is covering up for himself, his Deputy and a range of officials including right now Colin Steward at MINURSO.

  The expose "alleges that the 'inner circle' is made up of Commissioner-General Pierre Krahenbuhl, Deputy Commissioner-General Sandra Mitchell - who resigned from her post in late July - Chief of Staff Hakam Shahwan - who left the agency in early July - and Senior Adviser to the Commissioner-General Maria Mohammedi." Some allegation: it's called an organigram. Guterres' inner circle involves, never reported not by Al Jazeera, Amina J. Mohammed, harasser Fabrizio Hochschild, and the list goes on. Watch this site - Al Jazeeracolluded with Dujarric to get Inner City Press roughed up in mid 2018 after Inner City Press dare cover and criticize the Guterres' regimes favoritism of Qatar's state media including giving in a private briefing in the UN Press Brieifng Room which at noon on July 26 had not questioners at all. Likewise, no one at Al Jazeera has answered any of the written questions that have been directed at them about their role in getting Inner City Press roughed up and banned from the UN. This is the UN Censorship Alliance.

  Today's UN is so corrupt that, having ordered roughed up and banned Inner City Press which asked Guterres how he spent public money, hid money connected to UN briber CEFC China Energy and the golden statue he took from killer Paul Biya of Cameroon, his spokesman's noon press briefing on July 26 had not a single in person question. Yes, the corruption of the UN system under Guterres has extended to UNRWA, the "Relief and Works Administration." There, whistleblowers reached out to Inner City Press which for its questions has under Guterres been roughed up and banned 391 days with the story below. Note that Dujarric and his deputy refused to provide any answer, given that Inner City Press also inquires into Dear Leader Guterres: "Dear Matthew Lee,  I would like to write you about the potential irregularities and corruption during the UNRWA recruitment numbered 17-FO-LB-17, Vacancy called the Deputy Director of UNRWA Affairs (Organizational Support), P-5.  This Vacancy advertised during the month of April 2017, and the part of Vacancy announcement included a rigorous definition of the qualification requirements. This included an Advanced university degree at master’s level in the following defined fields [Business or Public Administration, International Relations, Law, Finance, or Human Resources Management or related areas].  Later on, during the summer 2017, the recruitment completed and selected incumbent appointed.  I would like to attract your attention to the fact that selected candidate did not fulfill the required qualification requirements, specifically the master’s degree in one of the Agency’s organizational support broad academic fields. Vice versa, Mrs. Daniela Leinen, the incumbent selected for the post, holds a Master degree in the Literature and she is qualified as the Teacher of the German and English at the elementary school level  according to the information made publicly available by her. This seems as complete mismatch of required qualification. In addition this can be seen as eliminatory and discriminatory to the other more suitably qualified applicants whose academic credentials fulfill the vacancy requirements.   This implies a suspicion related to  irregularities and corruption in this particular recruitment. It is also undermining an overall UNRWA recruitment process transparency and fairness at all. Any such deemed and unclarified irregularities in recruitment of the United Nations officials under the Civil Servant status can undermine a reputation and cause further disruptions in humanitarian operation same as put the flow of Donor’s funding for Agency under the threat.    Thank you for your attention!"  We'll have more on this - since Guterres and his spokespeople, the lead one Stephane Dujarric vacationing in France for all of July after banning Inner City Press along with his partners who breathlessly report about busses being late in New York. The UN under Guterres has become truly disgusting, as well as dysfunctional. 

  Guterres' corruption has also spread into UN Capital Development Fund, UNCDF. Today Inner City Press publishes this exclusive regarding Somalia and Somaliland, including a cover up under the fig leaf of "respect the hierarchy," and inaction by UN headquarters: "Dear Matthew, I have gathered documents detailing corruption, theft, abuse of power and abuse of office by UN officers Anka Kitunzi (P5), Dmitry Pozihdaev (P5) and Paul Simkin (P5).   I have written to the UNCDF officers in New York, who then said they had triggered an investigation by the UN OAI. Due to the lethargic approach by the UN, I wrote to the Donors of the programme, the Swedish SIDA and especially UK DfiD. Unfortunately, the donors claim they are awaiting the investigations by the UN. This investigation is nothing but a cover up.  The gross abuse by UNCDF officers based in Somaliland, where an individual withdrew funds from UN sponsored accounts for personal use, has led the Somaliland Government to remove from office the Mayor of Borama town, who participated in the fraud. Copies of the bank statements and letters from UN were shared with the donor, DFiD, but the donor does not care what happens to funds sent to Somalia. The funds are treated as a free-for-all. The said UNCDF officer who actually withdrew some US$38,000, which were likely distributed as kickbacks to the UN officers based in Nairobi in office. 

The response of the UNCDF has been to demand that the District refunds the funds which have been misused, thus driving Somaliland into greater poverty.   Mr. Anka Kitunzi, the Head of Office for UNCDF Somalia, has spent most of 2016 in New York while earning an annual salary of US$ 300,000+ and additional allowances of US$ 30,000 as DSA in New York, pretending to work on Somalia issues while undergoing medical care at UN expense. Anka flies First Class on holidays to Uganda, his home, yet claims substantial allowances while pretending to work from Kampala. The UNDP Somalia has written e-mails protesting this behaviour, but Judy Karl, the Executive Secretary in charge of UNCDF in New York, goes out of the way to protect Mr. Anka. 

Instead of investigating the flights and Daily Subsistence Allowances filched brazenly by Mr. Anka, Ms Judith Karl has sent in a UN accountant Mr. Birre Abebe from Ethiopia to come and cook up books to clean Mr. Anka's terrible records. The man from Ethiopia is being paid US $12,000 a month to do the cover up. This cooking of books shall continue until end of August, then the OAI inspectors are expected to arrive in Nairobi in September 2019 to declare that there is no problem, and thus the UN white washing will have been accomplished. Even as all this takes place, the Somalia donors representatives living in the cool leafy suburbs of Nairobi while pretending to oversee Somalia, are not concerned about the abuse of funds by UN staff based in Nairobi at great costs to the UN, and pretending to work in Mogadishu. Mr. Anka for example, has managed to be a Head of Office for Somalia while spending annually about two weeks only in Somalia, flying into the capitals and NEVER visiting any project. Mr. Anka has spent over nine years in the Nairobi office, while international staff have to be redeployed every four years. This abuse has been sanctioned by Exec. Sec. Judith Karl, based in New York, who is happy to receive officially over US$ 420,000 annually from UNCDF Somalia (7% of all funds raised by UNJPLG from donors for Somalia (about US 6 million given annually to UNCDF), are remited to New York).  The familiarity of Mr. Anka and Dr Dmitry with the actors in Somalia and Puntland over the decade has led to strange relationships open to abuse. In 2019, contractors based in Puntand wrote to the UN complaining that the Official who was working directly with the UN JPLG had created a number of companies that he owned through proxies, and others he controlled, and that all tenders were funneled to these companies.  As usual, UNCDF continues to work with the same companies which the ILO pretends to oversee bidding and BQs. The quarrels over the US$ 4 million funds is at the heart of the expulsion of ILO from Somaliland, but the paymaster is Mr. Anka Kitunzi, going strong for a decade now reigning over Somalia..

 Then, after some back and forth by Inner City Press, banned by corrupt Guterres from entering the UN for 383 days and with his spokespeople refusing all written questions about corruption, this:

I thought about this and have decided to forward the e-mails to you.  It is sad that the UN basically acts as the Government in Somalia, taking control of 'elections' where carefully chosen elders select candidates who then select the 'President'. The President is then guarded against his people by African Union forces, which number of thirty thousand, and are FULLY paid for by EU/UK/USA... The sadness is that the UN in Somalia, which provides the rationale and justification for donors, is unaccountable. Very little funding finds its way to the villages of Somalia, except for famine relief and food aid. Poverty begets desperation. The terrorist organizations of Al Shabaab an affiliate of Al Qaeda, actually does more for villagers than the corrupt UN machinery, an issue that UN acknowledges. How will the terror threat be contained, when UN and its agencies are looting the little donor funding for poor Somalia? Paying huge salaries ad allowances, first class flights, holidays in NY etc, to people who never leave the comfort of Nairobi is actually obscene!  UN meanwhile continues to be accused of racialism, elitism, and a refusal to employ ethnic Somalis. All top positions are by Europeans who like to sit in Nairobi. UNCDF is managed by an African from Uganda, which supplies the bulk of AU forces, so is beyond reproach. He is managed by a Russian/Serbian person based in Uganda.  UNCDF and JPLG (Joint Programme of Local Government) are important because they are supposed to pump millions of dollars to local projects. Most of the UN and UNDP programmes are hollow 'capacity building' programmes which are basically repeats of same workshops and seminars, or channeling salaries to politicians, police etc.   UNCDF annually sends US$ 6 million to local projects in Somalia. This is a small figure internationally, but it is a huge % of all funding to projects in poor Somalia. It is sad when these funds are stolen.  

 Among the emails: "Mon 11/19/2018 1:24 PM Dear Adan, I myself use UNCDF MONEY FOR TRAVEL. I HAVE BEEN GIVEN RENTED CAR AND DSA. THIS IS UNCDF MONEY, IT IS NOT MY MONEY. SO I AM REQUIRED TO CONSIDER VALUE FOR MONEY.  Best regards, Sahal Abdullahi  Mon 11/19/2018 1:28 PM Dear Sahal  I don't understand what you are talking about and don't talk about the issue you are talking about please respect the hierarchy  Regards  Adan." 

  "Respect the hierarchy, as elsewhere under Guterres, means "cover up" and "retaliate against critics."

The response from Guterres' UN? A UN official replied, "Please give this some room prior to notifying DFID as a cancellation of DFID funds will close the whole of JPLG."

 That is, cover up corruption so Big Tony and his crew can keep getting paid public money. We'll  have more on this. 

As UN Bans Inner City Press E-Asks Spox Dujarric of Cameroon Corporate UN China Taiwan Tibet Togo Ngo and SG Censorship 600+ UNanswered

UNITED NATIONS GATE, July 2 – Inner City Press on July 5 was banned from entering the UN, the day after it filed a criminal complaint against UN Security for physically removing it from covering the meeting about the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres' $6.7 billion peacekeeping budget, as witnessed and essentially cheered on by senior UN official Christian Saunders, tearing its reporter's shirt, painfully and intentionally twisting his arm and slamming shut and damaging his laptop. On August 17, Guterres' Global Communicator Alison Smale issued a letter banning Inner City Press from the UN - for life. With no due process. She and Guterres have put the UN in the US Press Freedom Tracker, here. Smale said, again, that the UN would answer Press questions to the Spokesman Stephane Dujarric and his Office; Dujarric said the same oncamera. On July 2 three hours before the UN noon briefing, Inner City Press submitted 1000questions, including why it continues to be lawlessly banned from entering to ask questions in person: "There are more than 600+ questions UNanswered. And Monday Sept 17, Tuesday Sept 18, Wed Sept 19 and  Thurs and Fri Sept 21, that whole week, no questions answered. Nor Sept 25, nor 28th - nor October 2 nor 3. While appreciating and using what was belatedly sent on May 20 about sexual exploitation allegations and on March 28 in partial request to Inner City Press' questions about the UN bribery sentence of Patrick Ho of CEFC and CEFC's 2018 attempt to buy the oil company of Gulbenkian Foundation which paid the SG, no answers on Dec 17 or 18 or 19 or 20 or 21 - another FIVE days in a row, even as SG's direct conflicts of interest and failure to disclose emerge, and a newest low. No answers on January 30 nor 31 nor February 1 nor 4 nor 5 nor 6 nor 7 nor 11 nor 12 nor 13 nor 14 nor 15 nor 18 nor 19 nor 20 nor 21 nor 22 nor 25 nor 26 nor 27 nor March 1 - 27 (!) And nowApril 1, 3-30 (one answer in the entire month - corrupt), and now May 1-13, 15-17, 21-31,June 3-28, and July 1, many questions. No answers at all during those four days of the US v Ho trial showing corruption in the UN says it all. This ban is just censorship - and Inner City Press must be allowed back into the noon briefing to ask its questions in person and follow up on them.  

July 2-1: On Cameroon (and Switzerland), what is Guterres' comment and action if any on the use of tear gas on opponents of Paul Biya, right next to the UN Palais? Is this approach consistent with the mediation the SG applauded? What is his response to  this Geneva question: Was the use of tear gas by police against Cameroonian demonstrators justified?   

July 2-2: On DRC, what is the SG's comment and action if any on that police fired tear gas to disperse demonstrators who tried to defy the ban on demonstrations in Kinshasa? Opponent Martin Fayulu, escorted by the police to his home, denounces a "lawless" state. In Goma, a demonstrator died of his injuries, according to police.  

July 2-3: On the corporatization of the UN under Guterres, what is his comment and response to "new corporate and government marriage quietly took place last week when the leadership of the World Economic Forum (WEF) and the United Nations (UN) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to partner with each other. While this MOU is proudly displayed on the WEF website, it is nowhere to be found on the UN website. The only indication on the UN website of this important new development is a picture of the pen used to sign the agreement, and two pictures of the signing ceremony.  One reason for this difference is that the UN’s corporate-centered Global Compact has received a good deal of bad press. Now the new WEF-UN agreement creates a second special place for multinational corporations inside the UN. There is no similar institutional homes in the UN system for civil society, for academics, for religious leaders, or for youth. It is hard to imagine a national government signing a similar formal partnership with one of its business organizations."  

July 2-4: On Togo and the dubious June 30 elections, what is the SG's comment and action if any on that the main civil society associations did not have their accreditation to observe these elections and the participation rate remained very low?  

July 2-5: On UN bribery, again, please immediately state what if anything the UN has bothered to find about how Cheikh Gadio, who was arrested for arranging bribes inside the UN, got into the building, including if any resident representative or coordinator was involved, and why Guterres has not audited CEFC China Energy's activities in the UN (while he failed to disclose in his online public financial disclosure covering 2016 the payments he received from Gulbenkian Foundation which tried to sell its oil company Partext to CEFC China Energy).  

July 2-6: On China and Taiwan and Czech Republic, what is the SG's comment and action if any on that following a Czech High Court verdict in favor of deporting eight Taiwanese telecom fraud suspects to China, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) on Tuesday (July 2) expressed concern about their human rights. In the latest case, the Chinese authorities asked Interpol...  

July 2-7: On China and Tibet, what is the SG's comment and action if any on that The Tibetan community in Switzerland and Liechtenstein organized a demonstration paralleling the ongoing 41st session of the UN Human Rights Council in front of Palais des Nations, on Friday, 28 June... “The human rights situation inside Tibet continued to be concerning, however, UN member states under the influence of China’s distorted facts and its economic ties, they are silent on Tibet”  

July 2-8: On press freedom, what is the SG's comment and action if any on the attack in Seattle on Andy Ngo by masked men that resulted in an alleged brain bleed.“Through the U.S. Press Freedom Tracker—a joint collaboration with Freedom of the Press Foundation—we’ve covered more than 97 cases of journalists being physically assaulted" - What is SG Guterres' response / reaction to UN DSS and Guterres' actions on Inner City Press being listed in the U.S. Press Freedom Tracker: https://pressfreedomtracker.us/all-incidents/independent-journalist-matt-lee-forcibly-removed-un-stripped-press-credentials/  In the UN, what has the accountability been for Lt Ronald E. Dobbins and those those refused on camera to give their names? What is each of yours - particularly the SG's - response to the letter written and sent by Burundi activist Manisha Lievin? To the April 15 letter to the SG, DSG and USG Smale for which receipt has not even been acknowledged, other than a single lawless line from MALU: "Your media accreditation request, with reference no: M66561081, has been declined"? This is a formal request for the UN's explanation of grounds for this denied, and since SGcentral, the SG's chief of staff and Deputy SG and USG Smale haven't even confirmed receipt of the April 15 letter much less responded, for reconsideration. AGAIN, immediately explain how it is legitimate to ban from enter into the UN the media that has been asking about these and other questions, with no hearing or appeal. 

June 14-5: Since the SG claimed publicly that the mansion he lives in "cannot" be sold, please immediately provide any and all documents with such a restriction, and separately explain why the concept of cy pres or reformation of donor intent has not been explored. Separately,  Boutros Boutros Galli wrote in his book that the building was given by Arthur Houghton through the United Nations Association of the USA. What actual inquires, with UNA-USA or any successor to Houghton or Corning Glass, has Guterres made?  

June 11-1: On Cameroon, what is the SG's comment and action if any on this report from Chinese state media: "YAOUNDE, June 10 (Xinhua) -- Cameroon's House Speaker of National Assembly Cavaye Yeguie Djibril on Monday denounced foreign interference in the country's internal affairs which he referred to as "conspiracy."  "Cameroon has become an object of conspiracy intended to destabilize the country. To justify their interference in internal affairs, the conspirators pretend to denounce it." Again, how many offices / desk does the Secretariat give to Chinese state media inside the UN?  

June 4-3: On UN sexual abuse and exploitation, AGAIN as requested on the morning of June 3 immediately disclose what IS the new "allegation of SEA" which the UN on the morning of June 3 announced by e-mail. Clicking through to the UN website, the previously announced case against South Africa peacekeeper is no longer at the top of the page, and it is unclear what the new allegation is. This lack of clarity is unacceptable.

May 15-3: On the Public Financial Disclosures for 2017 belatedly published over the weekend of April 27-28, please state why Mohammed Ibn Chambas, like the Executive Secretary of the UN Biodiversity Convention, Cristiana Paşca-Palmer, UNICEF's Henriette Fore, with documented links to ExxonMobil and others, USG Mark Lowcock (undisclosed while the Secretariat's speaker at the UNSC Arria on Cameroon), UNCTAD's Mukhisa Kituyi, UN Women's Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, UNOG chief Michael Moller, UNDP chief Achim Steiner,  Heidi Mendoza, Adama Dieng, UN Security chief Peter Drennan, Rosemary DiCarlo and Nicholas Haysum, is not even on the list. OIOS chief Inga-Britt Ahlenius reported - why not Mendoza? Where IS Mendoza? Isn't it a bad practice for the UN's head (anti) genocide definition official to conceal from the public even cursory financial disclosure? Did DiCarlo decline to make any public disclosure despite being the UN's top political officer? What is the even plausible applicability of this line from SG Guterres' web page: "Please note that given the multi-cultural environment of the UN and the often security sensitive locations where UN staff are either working or come from, full public disclosure may not always be a viable or sensible option for certain staff members"? Why has Guterres changed the previous system in a which a "choosing not to disclose" statement was upload and listed, to one which helps conceal who reports and who does not?  Again, state why considering the UN bribery conviction of Patrick Ho of CEFC, and CEFC's attempt to purchase the oil company of Gulbenkian Foundation which paid Mr. Guterres in 2016 was omitted from his online public financial disclosure covering 2016, and why Guterres has not even started an audit of CEFC in the UN.

UN Spokesman Dujarric Brags of Mutual Assured Destruction With Journalists Cyprus W Sahara Should Be Fired

UNITED NATIONS GATE, March 23 – UN Spokesman Stephane Dujarric, the lead spokesperson for Secretary General Antonio Guterres who has put Inner City Press on his UNdisclosed banned from the UN list along with "political activists," here, blocks Inner City Press on Twitter. Now in March 2019 he has given an interview to a corporate podcast in which he brags about his policy of "mutually assured destruction" with journalist, while self indulgently snarking about Cyprus, here, and Western Sahara, here. The links to the podcast were mostly 404 / removed, but some remained up. Dujarric should be fired. 

This as he tweets about expensive restaurants, the Eiffel Tower, his ferry commutes - and blames his directives to UN Television to NOT film Guterres on "my fat fingers on my small iPhone." But on the same day, February 4, Dujarric de la Riviere had no response at all to Inner City Press' written request for "a formal question for immediate answer and confirmation of receipt   Cameroon Biya's Minister Delegate of Justice Momo Jean de Dieu has on camera warned that Biya's opponents "might end up like 'arrogant' Jews whom Hitler put in gas chambers" - his words, video here.      What is the SG's comment and action on this?" 22 hours later and counting, nothing. Nothing at all. In fact at the February 5 noon briefing Dujarric said he was unaware of the comments, hadn't seen them despite Inner City Press twice emailing the video to him. This is the disgusting state of the UN under Guterres, and Dujarric. On January 28 Inner City Press asked Dujarric as well as Guterres and others, "While your Administration and Office of the Spokesperson have refused to answer a single written question from Inner City Press for fourteen work days, in contravention of conventions USG Smale made to UN Special Rapporteur David Kaye and Spokesman Dujarric made on camera, two formal questions for immediate answer and confirmation of receipt  1) in Cameroon it is reported that opposition figure Maurice Kamto as been arrested, after the 100+ arrests and shootings Inner City Press asked you about earlier today. What is the SG's comment and action, what are the read-outs of his six conversations with Paul Biya and of Francois Fall's visit there?  2) Again, what is the SG's response to the attached petition from South Sudan about (his) peacekeepers killing two civilians there?     Please explain how it is legitimate to ban from enter into the UN the media that has been asking about these and other questions, with no hearing or appeal.  On deadline." But hours later, there was no answer at all. This after Dujarric had held a January 28 UN noon press briefing without a single question on anything in Africa, much less UN corruption. It is pure censorship, (over) paid for with the public's money. How does a UN spokesperson buy a $3.75 million apartment and put kids in two separate expensive Manhattan private high schools, while even other UN staff members are told they couldn't take off Christmas Eve or New Years Eve this year because Guterres reforms were so important (that Guterres flew to Lisbon before they were even voted on by the UN Fifth Committee)? And while having roughed up and banned, and refusing the questions of, the Press that asks about the reports on these issues? We'll have more on this. On January 14 at noon Inner City Press in writing asked Guterres, his Deputy SG Amina J. Mohammed, USG Alison Smale and Dujarric (the last two have promised answers, here and here) questions including: "January 14-2: On Central African Republic, please immediately provide the SG's comment and action on photos of videos of blue helmeted peacekeepers, apparently from the UN's Mauritanian contingent, carrying wounded / killed people near Ippy." No answer at all, even as Spokesman Dujarric tweets about expensive restaurant on Manhattan's Upper East Side, here - so Inner City Press which has been asked to report on his outrage, which includes video and photos of blue helmet dragging and "bragging" out corpses, now uploads some here. A full 24 hour later, Inner City Press again in writing asked Guterres, Amina J. Mohammed, Alison Smale, Dujarric and others: "On Central African Republic, please immediately as you did not yesterday provide the SG's comment and action on photos of videos of blue helmeted peacekeepers, apparently from the UN's Mauritanian contingent, carrying wounded / killed people near Ippy. To ensure your prompt response, here are two of the photos." And nothing - totally unaccountable. This is Guterres' UN. Even though the UN simply stonewalls rather than seeking to answer, we'll note that some say this footage is front when "anti-balaka" tried to free people imprisoned by the Mauritanian UN peacekeepers - and the the UN Group of Experts published a photo with the blue helmets omitted.  Last week for four work days in a row Dujarric has refused to answer a single one of Inner City Press' written questions, on Cameroon and Sri Lanka and Sudan and Thailand and DRC and Uganda and Bangladesh and UN corruption, including Guterres' omitting from his financial disclosure the Gulbenkian Foundation which tried to sell its oil coming to China Energy Fund Committee. No answers, even as Dujarric tweets about an expensive restaurant near him on the Upper East Side, with a menu including: Duck Confit notre facon $28.50, Sauteed Calf's Liver shallot sauce $30; Boeuf Bourguignon $28.50; Brook Trout grilled or sauteed; sirloin $44." Bon appetit! The refusal to answer is despite three promises by Guterres' Global Communicator Alison Smale that there would be answers. And his own statement that "we continue to answer Mr. Lee's questions," here. Dujarric, the record shows, is a long term censor. While claiming to the Colombia Journalism Review and in more detail in emails to Inner City Press supporters which we have yet to publish that the basis for excluding Inner City Press is "behavior," for years Dujarric harassed and tried to intimidate Inner City Press about content. Once when in charge of media accreditation he ordered Inner City Press to stop referring in writing to then UN Peacekeeping chief Herve Ladsous as "the drone." That was pure content. Likewise when Dujarric summoned Inner City Press to berate it about using a hashtag, #WW2. Is that behavior? Here's video of the day Dujarric returned to the Briefing Room, after a stint that included sleeping open mouthed in a room under the UN library; he promised to answer "your" questions then gestured at the room much more full that he has it today. Video here. Dujarric for years has wanted to censor - and it was the arrival as SG of corrupt censor Antonio Guterres which turned him loose. Soon Dujarric was arbitrarily banning Inner City Press from photo ops on the 38th floor, not for behavior but for reporting on them. He is everything that is wrong with the UN, selectively serving Gulf state media and censoring independent Press, now no answers for three days. On 24 October 2018 one of Dujarric's friendly interlocutors, UN Security Inspector Matthew Sullivan - who has called Dujarric a great man while also calling US Senator Elizabeth Warren "Jokeahontas," here, blocked Inner City Press from an event on Burundi and Cameroon, video here. On December 18 when Inner City Press was barred again, from a UN Human Rights event it was invited to, Under Secretary General Alison Smale told Inner City Press that the bar is the decision of UN Security. Is that the reclusive USG Peter Drennan, who tried to retaliate after Inner City Press published an internal DSS email about how he buried a threat against Guterres' opponent Irina Bokova? Or does it also stretch down to Sullivan and others, some as yet unnamed? The fact that Antonio Guterres uses these to do his dirty work makes him no better than the dictators he (sometimes) purports to criticize. On December 17 and 18 Dujarric did not answer a single one of Inner City Press' questions about conflicts Guterres pretends to care about: Sri Lanka, Somalia, Nigeria - forget Cameroon. We'll have more on this. Is the UN faux progressive, nasty nativist, or both / neither, only united in abusing its power? Sullivan used UN conference rooms for sneaker related for profit events, which Dujarric and his deputy defended. Sullivan, in turn, on 25 June 2018, three days after his underling Lt Ronald E Dobbins carried out Dujarric's and Al Jazeera's threat and had Inner City Press physically outsted, wrote "Stephane is a great man." Inner City Press asked Dujarric, "please explain how a UN spokesperson can legitimately block on Twitter a media which covers the UN, when he is posting UN information produced with public funds." While leaving questions about abuses in South Sudan and Egypt unanswer, Dujarric on his own blocking of Inner City Press replied, "As for Twitter, you are not blocked from the UN Spokesman’s account, the SG’s official account or the UN’s main account. You are most welcome to continue to follow those accounts and interact with them." Of course, that wasn't the question - it's about blocking critical media from information for which the public is paying, about UNGA speeches, NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio and his officials, France, trips paid for by the public. We're informed by disgusted sources that Dujarric who played a role in having Inner City Press roughed up by UN Security this summer is now tweeting, regarding litigation among the 1970s band Fleetwood Mac, "Seriously? Could this world be anymore divided?" - this as he has the Press roughed up and defends it. And the lone Like of this effusion is from... a senior UN Security official. We'll have more on this. Cameroon's 36 year ruler Paul Biya blocked Inner City Press on Twitter, here. Now people who read our first October 1 story tell us that Dujarric, while blocking Inner City Press and refusing for weeks to answer its question about whether his boss Antonio Guterres, supposedly committed to fighting sexual harassment, had even responded to Prashanti Tiwari's letter -- Dujarric follows / monitors / trolls Prashanti. So too a number of Cameroon activists. This is how low the UN has sunk - it refuses to respond to its victims but tracks them. For what? We'll have more on this.
