Uzbekistan was detained by ICE
in 26 Federal Plaza on
February 19. She filed a
habeas corpus petition in the
US District Court for the
Southern District of New York
on February 20, where Inner
City Press found it. The case
was assigned to Judge John P.
Cronan who issued an order for
the US Attorney's Response by
February 27. The
petition says she entered the
US "without inspection
approximately seven miles west
of the Lukeville, Arizona
point-of-entry on November 7,
2022." She sought to be
released immediately. What happened?
