COURTHOUSE,
March 24 รข The New York
Yankees Partnership has filed
a lawsuit to get $60,000 from
a Lyndhurst, NJ woman who has
not paid for her four-seat box
at Yankee Stadium for the 2024
season. Following
a JAMS arbitration, the
lawsuit was filed on March 18
in the U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York, where Inner City Press
found it. The
plaintiffs are the New York
Yankees Partnership, described
as an Ohio limited
partnership, and Legends
Hospitality, a Delaware LLC.
The contract included "food
benefits and services." For
2024 the four seats plus cost
$66,400. The demand for
arbitration was filed on
October 9, 2024 - talk about
Mister October - and a
settlement agreement for
$65,000 was reached on March
15, 2025, during spring
training. So far, the
lawsuit says, only $5,500 has
been paid. The case is New York Yankees Partnership, et al. v. Kutler, 1:26-cv-2237 (Rochon)
