รข How corrupt is today's UN
under Antonio Guterres?
Consider South Sudan, where
UN personnel stand accused
of child rape on which UN
spokespeople Stephane
Dujarric and Melissa Fleming
have refused all Press
questions. On March 3 this,
from a UN whistleblower sent
to Inner City Press: Dear Matthew
Russell Lee, See the message
below from National
Staff of UNMISS after the
demise of UNMISS SRSG. He
was away for more than six
months and passed away
yesterday in New York. The UNMISS
leadership has for the
umpteenth time shown gross
incompetence and sheer
disrespect, following the
demise of the Head of
Mission, Mr. Nicholas Fink
Haysom. The mission
leadership failed to honor
Mr. Haysom's memory, leaving
Personnel to wonder and
question what these many
Special Assistants are doing
in all these Senior
Management offices. It is
evident that they are very
useless and only chasing to
replace his position (SRSG).
They have proven repeatedly
and without fail that they
are incompetent and not
capable to advise these
Senior Management. It is very
shameful that the so called
Special Advisors are
incapable of advising their
Principals to make right
decisions - this was clear
during the downsizing phase
when wrong decisions were
made. None of the many
Advisors could advise the
leadership of the poor
decisions made. Appreciation
to the National Staff Union
for the below email advising
the mission to do right by
showing respect and honor

MESSAGE TO UNMISS PERSONNEL
ON THE PASSING OF SRSG
NICHOLAS HAYSOM Dear
Anita, Good afternoon,
thanks for sharing the sad
news of the death of our
SRSG Mr. Nicholas Haysom, he
has not only been the SRSG
for the mission but a friend
to the people of South
Sudan, his relationship with
the people of South Sudan
started prior to his
appointment as the
SRSG. The NSA
executive committee and its
advisory board has noted
with concern that, despite
the important role Nicholas
Haysom has played in the
mission and to the people of
South Sudan in pursue of
sustainable peace. The
United Nations flag has not
been lowered in respect to
his soul and the important
role his has played in the
United Nations, this to us
sends a wrong signal about
the United Nations. I
hope with this, I urge the
leadership of UNMISS and the
UNCT should reconsider their
position and let the flag of
the United Nations be
lowered. Regards
Bennett Khamis Kenyi
President UNMISS NSA. As a personally
aside, Nicholas Haysom
passionately described
UN work on Sri Lanka, in
the bar across the
street from the UN.
RIP.
Guterres, they say, should end censorship. Application was made on June 19, 2025, here. Six months later, a denial without any explanation. And for more that six weeks, nothing, no action, from the US Mission. Watch this site.
