SDNY COURTHOUSE, Oct 23 รข€“ Three men were arrested for trying to sell 1000 fentanyl pills in The Bronx. They were presented on July 23 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Magistrates Court, which Inner City Press closely covers.

The complaint has a photo of one defendant in a Hilfiger hoodie. He was arrested carrying fentanyl pills in a diaper.

The overall scheme used a money transfer and remittance company named La Fortuna Multiservices Corp, housed with a barber shop at 617 Crescent Avenue in the Belmont section just south of Fordham University.

After Orders to Continue in the Interest of Justice, on October 21 one of the three was brought before District Judge Jeannette A. Vargas and pled guilty to Court 1 of an information.

Sentencing was set for February 2 and he remained detained.

The case is USA v. Conce, 1:26-cr-492 (Vargas)
