SDNY Prosecutors Set 37 Month Guideline for Woman for Defrauding JPMC Epstein Victims Fund

SDNY COURTHOUSE, Sept 16 -- The prosecutors of the Southern District of New York have filed an information against, and obtained a guilty plea from, a woman for "defraud[ing] a fund created to compensate certain victims of Jeffrey Epstein."

The information was listed on PACER on September 14, where Inner City Press found it, but said that none of the filings were yet available. On September 15, without any press release being issued, the filing went live: a single counsel of wire fraud against on Jennifer Percival.

She was released on a $50,000 personal recognizance bond with the financial responsibly co-signer, after pleading guilty to the single count before SDNY Magistrate Judge Ona T. Wang.

The case was wheeled out to District Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil, who will review the recommendation to accept the guilty plea, and set a sentencing date.

On September 16, after Inner City Press first reported the above, it found in the plea transcript that the SDNY prosecutors, as in the case of Charlie Javice, have brought criminal charges after JPM Chase's lack of due diligence; the guideline is 37 to 46 months.
