Man Charged With Defaced Gun and Defrauding USDA Bails with Eye on YAOP by Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Book Substack SDNY COURTHOUSE, Sept 17 – A young man charged with having an illegal defaced firearm and defrauding the USDA was was brought on September 17 into the U.S. District Court for the Southern District Magistrates Court. Inner City Press was there, the only media in the SDNY Mag Court.    His Federal Defender said he might be eligible for the SDNY Young Adult Opportunity Program. The Magistrate Judge asked if anything needed to be signed. No, application would be made to the YAOP's presiding judges. But would the firearms charge be a hinderance?
