April 14 – How corrupt
and decrepit has the UN system
become under Antonio Guterres,
in this case due to Guterres?
Today's example is again from
the Office of the High
Commission for Human Rights,
to which Guterres appointed
his unqualified crony Volker
Turk more than two years ago.
From OHCHR

Taylor, with an appalling
record on Human
Resources resources and
no experience on
administration, budgeting of
finances (resulting in OHCHR’s
todays financial crisis) has
had since since 2017 a record
of nepotism and mismanagement.
She lied in her previous
application for the post (as
per her PHP soon to be exposed
), she favored her boyfriend
to get a P4 (with no
sufficient experience and
against more qualified
candidates) and she has acted
as willing executioner against
staff committee members and
whistleblowers, under the
direct supervision of
soon-to-go (thank God) DHC
“Soulless†Nada Al Nashif-all
this tolerated by flamboyant
Volker Turk. Today, 18 months
later a new chief Human
Resources was appointed in
OHCHR, Steve Damont-Fagot. He
worked in in OCHA with corrupt
Taylor and has been heading
the talent pipe in the
resident coordinators system,
under the reputed-nepotistic
Deputy SG Amina Mohamed who
has been favoring her friends
and accelerating appointments
ahead of her departure this
fall. In OHCHR staff wonder
what kind of deal there is
between Volker Turk and DSG
Mohamed, they scratch
each other’s back so Turk
stays longer? Volker Turk ends
in September 2026 and he must
go before he destroys OHCHR.
Why to appoint someone after
18 months? Is Volker Turk
trying to get a mandate
extension in spite of his
dismal performance? How were
the funds for Kim Taylor’s
previous post used by OHCHR if
the post was vacant for 18
months? Why the acting head
for Human Resources for 18
months (a woman from an
unrepresented county) was not
considered- she often
complained Kim Taylor’
pathological micromanagement
did not allow her to perform?
Instead OHCHR got a person
acquainted with Kim Taylor, he
worked for Kim Taylor in OCHA
(another one crony) and
experienced in DCO, one the
biggest legacies and most
corrupt fiascos of Amina
Mohamed and Antonio Guterres.
Member states must
investigate corruption in
kleptocratic OHCHR. Dear
Colleagues, I am
pleased to welcome Mr. Stève
Damond-Fagot as our new Chief
of Human
Resources.

Amina are due on April 15 at
the IMF which Inner City Press
is accredited to cover, Inner City Press
re-applied to re-enter the UN
on June 19, 2025 - no answer
at all from Melissa Fleming,
Tel Mekel, Stephane Dujarric
for six months, then a denial
with no reason at all given.
Today's UN is corrupt.
