| UN Guterres Bans
Press Even at IMF Spring Meeting
UNCTAD Borrowers Platform Scam
UN GATE
/ IMF,
April 15 â How corrupt
is the UN under Antonio
Guterres, and how does it
impact other international
organizations? Inner City Press
is accredited to cover the
IMF's Spring Meeting, and on
April 14 asked a question -
about Anthropic's Mythos - to
the IMF's
Tobias Adrian. So
attaching an UNCTAD event on
April 15, called the
Borrower's Platform, seemed
like a no-brainer. But the
event involved Antonio
Guterres, on another junket,
and perhaps his deputy Amina
J. Mohamed, apparently wanting
to be dark horse candidate for
Next SG (in DC on the public
dime, she "will participate in
a public event with Prime
Minister Mia Mottley of
Barbados"). Inner City
Press filled out the form to
attend - and after 4 am was
sent this: "From: UNCTAD-
Borrowers Platform

Date: Wed, Apr 15, 2026 at

Platform Press Conference â

Dear Matthew
Lee,
Regrettably, we are unable to
accommodate your participation
in the Borrowers' Platform
launch press conference." Really? Watch
this site. Guterres is
corrupt. And who else? Previously: after
eight years of failure as
UNSG, Antonio Guterres is
still trying to pick his
successor. First, this from
over the transom: "Rebeca
Grynspan took the helm of the
UN Conference on Trade and
Development (UNCTAD) in 2021
imbued with unbridled
ambition. She
immediately embarked on a
campaign to use the position
as a steppingstone to the UN
Secretary-General job in 2026
and started positioning her
close allies to set up the
necessary machinery for that." Now on October 8,
this: "Since assuming office
in 2021, Grynspan has wasted
no time in leveraging her
position as a platform for her
own political aspirations. The
organizationâs 60th
anniversary event in June,
which should have been an
opportunity to renew its
commitment to advancing the
interests of the developing
world, was instead used as a
launchpad for her campaign for
the UNâs top job.
In 2022, UN chief Antonio
Guterres assigned Grynspan to
coordinate a task force
working on the global response
to the impacts of the war in
Ukraine, and she quickly
turned it into the vehicle for
her UN campaign, pushing
UNCTADâs work to the back
burner. Instead, she spends
her time scratching the backs
of developed countries in
hopes that they will return
the favour when the time comes
for her bid for the UN
Secretary-General position."
Part 1 of x Grynspan has
refused to answer basic
campaign finance questions
sent to her and her sponsors. Inner City
Press filled out a poll on
June 11 - the most important
qualification for any future
SG is refusal to censor as
Guterres has. Watch this site.
