COURTHOUSE,
April 14 รข A man who was part
of an offer to sell 400 grams
of fentanyl for $8000 in The
Bronx is up for sentencing on
April 16. His lawyer is
asking for 26 months, of which
he has served 21. He has a
diagnosis which is redacted in
the memo. The memo
says that "while undocumented,
he has resided in the US since
2015 doing such odd jobs as
painting and floor polishing." He told
Probation Officer Flemen about
experiencing incidents in
which other inmates took food
from him, but that his faith
in God has been a source of
strength. The
sentencing is by U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Margaret M. Garnett, whose
proceedings including that of
Luigi Mangione Inner City
Press often covers. The case is USA v. Dominguez, 1:24-cr-535 (Garnett)
