DC, April 14 – Elissa Slotnik was recently
in Iowa; she said "if I truly felt like there weren’t
other people who were ready to put in the work and be able
to lead and win, then I might take a look at
it."
On April 14 she spoke at an event by the DC
Waterfront. Inner City Press was there, and posted video
of Slotnik on legislation to ban the purchase of US
farmland by China, Iran, North Korea - and hedge
funds.

Inner City Press had hoped to ask her
about the prospects of crypto market structure legislation
in the current Congress. But there was only time for one
question, given by NOTUS to a Kevin (host's prerogative;
their breakfast was excellent) then Rep. Derrick Van Orden
(R-WI), in farm clothes.
Inner City Press headed back to the Green
Line Metro, past The Atlantic, heading to the IMF Spring
Meetings and Semafor World Economy again, if time
