SDNY COURTHOUSE, April 16 รข€“  A man who pled guilt to hacking accounts on "a sports betting site" - DraftKings - is up for sentencing on April 16.

His defense lawyer is asking for a year and a day, to allow "good time" credit, while acknowledging that while out on pre-trial release he downloaded Telegram and got remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.

The original complaint described credential stuffing attacks, and the defendant selling access to victim accounts.

The US Attorney's Office wrote in and asked for 46 months imprisonment.

On April 16 Stokes was sentenced to 30 months in prison.

The sentencing was by U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Senior Judge Naomi Reice Buchwald, whose proceedings Inner City Press often covers.

The case is USA v. Stokes, 1:24-cr-259 (Buchwald)
