IMO Dominguez Will Not Answer Press on Oman Hormuz Transit Fee Report

SDNY COURTHOUSE, June 26 – The UN at 9:30 am EST on June 26 announced that at 10:30 am International Maritime Organization (IMO), Mr. Arsenio Dominguez, will provide an update on the situation in the Strait of Hormuz area, on Zoom.

Inner City Press, covering the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York while banned from the UN by SG Antonio Guterres, signed in.

It had a simple question, about reports that Oman is telling European and other countries that it may level transit fees on ships in the Strait. Could Dominguez confirm or deny that? What is the IMO's view?

But while Guterres spokesperson Stephane Dujarric called on every other raised hand on Zoom - inside UNHQ, the decrepit press corpse had only two representatives in the briefing room Inner City Press is banned from - he did not call on Inner City Press at SDNY LIVE.

The question was typed into the Zoom chat, as others had done (apparently to get pre-approved to get called on). No answer yet from media at imo.org.   And so it goes in today's UN. Watch this site
