COURTHOUSE,
July 13 รข A defendant
previously convicted of
smashing a subway rider in the
face was in the 100 Centre
Street holding call on July 13
waiting to see the judge in
the presentment part, APAR1.
Inner City Press was
there. Before he
was brought out, loud voices
were audible from the holding
cell, including death threats.
He was placed on the bench to
the right of the judge and
continued raising his
voice. Finally his
case, a drug possession
misdemeanor, was called. The crime
under current NYS law is not
eligible for bail. But did the
loud death threats change that
analysis? They did
not. The prosecution merely
asked to raise the level of
supervised release. Even that
was not granted. Also pending, as
stated on WebCrims: "PL 110-120.00

Description Hate Cr/assault

Arrest Charge Description Agg
