Commish Volker Turk Begs
for Unearmarked Funds to
Waste as Waltz Silent

April 8 – How corrupt
and decrepit has the UN system
become under Antonio Guterres,
in this case due to Guterres?
Today's example is again from
the Office of the High
Commission for Human Rights,
to which Guterres appointed
his unqualified crony Volker
Turk more than two years ago.
From OHCHR
staff - "Dear Matthew Russell
Lee, Thank you for exposing
corruption in today's UN under
the so-called “feminist in
chief†Guterres and his
cronies like narcissist Volker
Turk. Inner City Press has
rightly cast light on the
use/waste of unearmarked funds
by UN agencies.
Flamboyant Volker Turk
requested 400 million from
donors. “We need more
unearmarked contributions†he
said (HC appeal to donors 05
February 2026). The truth is
that unearmarked funds
in OHCHR are used for
consultancies, recruitment and
promotion of favorites,
cronies and relatives (more
details will soon be exposed)
or in useless initiatives to
further the flamboyant High
Commissioner ego (like his
empty Human Rights concert in
Victoria Hall- staff were
asked to attend with their
families to fill the empty
room-, the opening of an
useless office in his home
Vienna, or the redecoration of
Palais Wilson which he will
have to return to Geneva
municipality in June). The
majority of unearmatked funds
are not used for human rights
work or for victims. Earmarked
funds are wasted in useless
positions in Geneva and OHCHR
refuses to give detailed
account of how they are spent.
Unearmarked funds are fraud to
taxpayers. Member states must
watch closely the way funds
are wasted in OHCHR, audit
OHCHR accounts and only donate
tightly earmarked funds. Most
OHCHR staff (except for
cronies and relatives) demand
that Volker Turk leaves at the
end of his mandate in
September. Member states must
not allow corrupt Guterres to
extend him." As with
Guterres at UNHQ - Inner City
Press and FUNCA have sent a
questionnaire on transparency
and accountability to the now
four (so far) candidates for
UNSG, no answer from Rebeca
Grynspan, watch this site. And
nothing from Mike Waltz. Inner City Press
re-applied to re-enter the UN
on June 19, 2025 - no answer
at all from Melissa Fleming,
Tel Mekel, Stephane Dujarric
for six months, then a denial
with no reason at all given.
Today's UN is corrupt.
