Man from Portugal Who Sold Fentanyl in Bronx Parking Lot Asks for 5 Years on April 13

SDNY COURTHOUSE, April 7 รข€“ A man charged with selling fentanyl to an undercover officer in a parking lot in the Bronx is up for sentencing in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on April 13. Inner City Press is covering the case.

  He pled guilty, with a five year mandatory minimum. His sentencing memo says he was born in Portugal in 1979 and grew up with a refrigerator.

  ICE records show he entered the US in 2006, and became a naturalized US citizen in 2015. In the MDC, it says, he has an exemplary work history.

 The case is USA v. Barreiro, 1:25-cr-54 (Garnett)
