UN Staff Critics of Rights Commish Volker Turk List Why Next SG Should Replace Him

by Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Book Substack

UN GATE, Oct 5 รข€“ How corrupt and decrepit has the UN system become under Antonio Guterres, in this case due to Guterres? Today's example is again from the Office of the High Commission for Human Rights, to which Guterres appointed his unqualified crony Volker Turk more than two years ago.

From OHCHR staff - "Dear Matthew Russell Lee, Many thanks for exposing corruption in the UN...

Will the Next SG "replace Volker Turk, narcissist lame duck UN High Commissioner for Human Rights? There are good reasons  1-Volker Turk selective silences about repression and human rights abuses  2-The use of his voice selectively and depending of funds for OHCHR. 2-Ignore and repression of internal OHCHR whIstleblowers

3-Creation of a network of patronage and cronyism in OHCHR  4-Gross mismanagement of funds including misuse of earmarked funds and abuse of overhead trough doggy cost recovery malpractices to  use field funds for HQ posts. 5-Promote his favorites

6-Waste of millions of dollars of tax payers funds in useless initiatives like UDHR75 or Global Alliance for HR while young staff are being decimated in OHCHR. 7-Making OHCHR bureaucratic and irrelevant. 8-Being reelected in a fraudulent manner by the SG.

Will Amb Waltz and Amb Steggerda hold SG candidates accountable and force them to seriously look into OHCHR mismanagement?

For now, doesn't look like it. Inner City Press remains banned from the UN, despite July 25, 2026 application, and its questions are not being answered... Watch this site.
