SDNY COURTHOUSE, April 30 â An
employee of JPMorgan Chase Bank who worked 60 hours a
week, opening and closing the Chase branch at 623 Broadway
in Manhattan, has sued JPMC for not paying overtime nor
fully reimbursing her for her uniform and use of her
cellphone.
The lawsuit was filed on April 30 in
the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New
York, where Inner City Press found it.
JPMorgan Chase is accused of
violating the Fair Labor Standards Act, and New York State
laws on overtime and unpaid and withheld wages.
The case is Samaroo v. JPMorgan Chase
