For Brick of Fentanyl Mother Released with GPS Son Too Montenegro Now Indicted

SDNY COURTHOUSE, May 18 รข€“Two defendants - and mother then her son - were charged with drugs crimes and brought in for a bail fight on March 18 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Magistrates Court. Inner City Press was there.  

The mother was released on consent, with GPS monitoring.

But on the son, Judge Cave said she wanted the defense to try to propose by Friday another place from their client to live, since he is accused of engaging in crimes with his mother.

  The prosecutor emphasize that he has traveled to Montenegro, noting that the US has a 1902 extradition treaty with (then) Serbia, still applicable to Montenegro, but "it is not easy." See, e.g., Do Kwon).

   Then this: " Bond Hearing as to Kevin Muniz Blazquez held on 3/26/2026. AUSA James Mandilk present for the Government. Defendant present with attorney Jonathan Marvinny. BAIL DISPOSITION: $125,000 PRB; To be co-signed by two (2) FRP; Travel restricted to SDNY/EDNY.

On May 19, the two were indicted and the case assigned to District Judge Sidney H. Stein.

The case is USA v. Blazquez, et al., 1:26-cr-194 (Stein)
