In Harvey Weinstein Retrial Jessica Mann Cries to the End At Exhibits Not Made Available to the Public

100 CENTRE STREET, May 1 -- Harvey Weinstein was in his wheelchair, this time with Marc Agnifilo, Teny Geragos and Jacob Kaplan as his lawyers, as opening arguments began before NYS Justice Curtis Farber on April 21. Inner City Press was there and live tweeted. So too on May 1, as the cross examination of Jessica Mann came to an end, and exhibits remained unavailable:

Justice Farber: Bring in the jury Jurors enter. Justice Farber: Everyone have a good lunch? (Many nods) I had another case in between, and more on Monday.  Cross continues.

Teny Geragos: You saw a psychic about Harvey Weinstein? Mann: Reading on my life

[Audio is played] On tape, Jessica Mann said: Harvey tries to cross boundaries in my life but I don't let him. Teny Geragos: Here in what you wrote, you said he doesn't need to know. You met your boyfriend at the time? Mann: I don't think I was dating Eddie yet

4:09 Jessica Mann is back. Teny Geragos: I used to the break to pare it down, just a few more questions. Jessica Mann: Thank you so much. [Voice breaks; Court Security gives her a glass of water] Geragos: Here you tell him Tolida has a Brazilian friend to meet him

Teny Geragos: You comforted him after his mother died? Jessica Mann: He just wanted to do something sexual. Geragos: That was consensual, right? [Seems to say yes] Geragos: Did you discuss with Mr. Blumberg over the break? Mann: She asked me something

Teny Geragos: Just a last few questions. You gave your phones to the DA's office - did you delete anything? Jessica Mann: No. Geragos: You deleted a photo, right? Mann: Yeah at that time in my life Geragos: At that time, did you smoke marijuana? Objection! Sidebar

[Note an exhibit is shown on the screen, but too briefing to type it. These "public" exhibits must, in fact, be made public.]
