SDNY COURTHOUSE, Aug 20 – The United
Nations Federal Credit Union has refused to comply with a
US subpoena. On August 20, the US filed a Petition against
theUNFCU in the U.S. District Court for the Southern
District of New York, where Inner City Press found and is
the first to report it.
The Petition says that the US served a
subpoena on UNFCU on February 9. On March 11, the return
date, UNFCU refused to appear and its "failure to comply
with the Summons continues to this date" - more than five
months later.
The case is USA v. United Nations Federal
Credit Union, 1:26-mc-420 (Unassigned)
