SDNY COURTHOUSE, Aug 26 – Roc Nation
was sued for discrimination and harassment by Amy Huffman.
The lawsuit was filed on August 24, 2026 in the U.S.
District Court for the Southern District of New York,
where Inner City Press found it.
Hoffman alleges that one Jermaine
Jackson a/k/a Germaine Jackson "repeatedly defamed
Plaintiff, falsely stating that she obtained DRNX
Enterprise business through sexual conduct." She says she
reported the sexual harassment to to Roc Nation including
its Legal Counsel Colin Brown and its head of M&T Alex
Ingram.
There is a theory: "Jackson maintained a longstanding professional relationship with NBA star LaMelo LaFrance Ball, one of Roc Nation Sports LLC's most valuable athlete relationships... Roc Nation possessed powerful institutional incentives to avoid a direct confrontation with Jackson, and by extension, LaMelo Ball."

On August 26 Judge Louis A. Kaplan
dismissed it as too long, with leave to replead by
September 11: "ORDER: This is an action for alleged sexual
harassment, defamation, and retaliation. The complaint is
86 pages long and contains 546 numbered paragraphs of
allegations. As the Second Circuit has written, as further
set forth herein. This complaint, like that dismissed in
the Blakely case, is neither "short [n]or plain." It
therefore is dismissed without prejudice to plaintiff
filing, on or before September 11, 2026, an amended
complaint not to exceed 30 pages in length, which is more
than sufficient to give the adverse party fair notice of
