FEDERAL COURTHOUSE, April 14 – Pras Michel's trial started with jury selection on March 27 on charges of working for Jho Low to lobby the Obama then Trump administrations.

On April 14, after the US abruptly ended its case in chief, this: " MINUTE ORDER as to PRAKAZREL MICHEL (1): The court reporter recently informed the court that she inadvertently sent a copy of yesterday afternoon's transcript to the Government that included the Court's ex parte conversation with defense counsel as to a theory of defense. The court reporter asked the Government to disregard that copy and conveyed a new copy excluding the ex parte conversation. For the avoidance of doubt, Government counsel is directed to disregard and delete the 10:50 PM ET April 13, 2023 email from the court reporter.
