SDNY COURTHOUSE, July 7 –   Norman N. Mintz sued Loeb Partners for a million dollars on a 2013 deal. He sued in 2019 to recoup the money - and then in 2020 he died.
On July 7 U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Katherine Polk Failla held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.
Judge Failla expressed condolences, which counsel thanks her for.
Then she read out a decision dismissing Mintz' unjust enrichment claim, but kept his breach of contract claim alive, how ever ironic.
The case is Mintz v. Loeb Partners Corp. et al., 19-cv-4829 (Failla)
