Litvintsuk Pleads Guilty To Selling Carfentanil Into the US From Estonia

SDNY COURTHOUSE, July 22 – Viktor Litvintsuk had pleaded guilty to conspiracy to import carfentenil into the United States. On July 22 U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Magistrate Judge J. Paul Oetken held a Change of Plea proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.
Back in May, Litvintsuk and his co-defendants were arguing for severance and Rule 15 depositions, which the Government opposed citing "Defendant's Statements to Estonian Authorities." Part of the US Attorney's opposition was redacted.
On July 22, Litvintsuk said he had arranged to purchase the carfentanil and that he knew it was for import into the US.
His sentencing was set for September 18 at 11 am.
The case is US v. Litvintsuk, 18-cr-678 (Oetken)
