US Invites Scribes To Meet UN Censors Corrupt UNCA Leads Blind in House of Mirrors

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Maxwell book

UN GATE, April 4 – Today's UN is a glass house of mirrors, where censors speak of press freedom and the corrupt talk up transparency, and the US State Department has fallen into it.

It is partnering with a group that actively attacks independent press - to entertain correspondents visiting the UN while Russia presides over the UN Security Council.

Do the invitees know who they are in bed with?

"Dear colleagues,   UNCA is extending an invitation from the US Department of State to arrange professional engagements with 23 international journalists visiting the United Nations on Monday and Tuesday, April 10th and 11th, 2023. All of the participants are English speakers.  See the advisory for a list of visitors and more details.    The visitors are participating in this year’s Multi-Regional Project on Journalism entitled Edward R. Murrow Program – New and Traditional Broadcast Media. This initiative is taking place under the auspices of the US Department of State’s International Visitors Leadership Program.   The overall objective of this exchange is to familiarize the guests with the history and importance of press freedom in the United States. The program will also allow them to examine the structure, practices, and future of broadcast journalism in America. The nominating posts would also like for the participants to discuss how new technologies shape the way news is gathered, reported, distributed, and consumed. Finally, the project’s professional architecture will allow the visitors to explore the crucial role of responsibility and accuracy in reporting in a democracy.  To arrange engagements and interviews, please contact:  Cultural Vistas Program Contacts: Mr. Paul Champaloux, (202) 545-6808, pchampaloux@culturalvistas.org Ms. Lilayali Garcia, (212) 497-3505, lgarcia@culturalvistas.org  Department of State Program Contacts: Mr. Chris Halecki, (848) 476-6529, haleckica@state.gov Mr. Sean Flanagan, (914) 787-9274, FlanaganSM@state.gov  Thank you for your attention.  Valeria Robecco President, United Nations Correspondents Association"
