SDNY COURTHOUSE, June 14 –   China Eastern Airlines was supposed to deliver personal protective equipment face masks from China to the US. But they did not arrive. Federal Insurance Company sued.

On June 14, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Paul A. Engelmayer held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.

Judge Engelmayer inquired into who was blaming whom, and who could blame whom. Then he emphasized that this $140,000 with, in the grand scheme of things, not a huge case.

He urged settlement, while saying if not, expert discovery is ued by November 5, with a conference on November 12.

The case is Federal Insurance Company v. Kintetsu World Express (China) Co., Ltd. et al., 21-cv-3024 (Engelmayer)
