UN Melissa Fleming Bans Press As Preaches Info Integrity in Internal Priority Grid Stonewall

by Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Book Substack

UN GATE, Feb 29 – While the UN's chief communicator Melissa Fleming preaches to her UN Staff about "information integrity," she refuses to answer two pro bono law firms' letters FedExed to her asking why she bans Inner City Press, and to end the ban.

No answer at all.

On February 29, Fleming was asked online about it, in X reply to another of her robo-tweets. Inner City Press amplified it. Still no answer. But Fleming sent this earlier this year:

Dear colleagues,   I am pleased to share with you the 2024 UN Communications Priorities and Forecast Grid.    The top priorities for UN communications are Mobilizing Climate Action, Responding to Crisis and Conflict and Achieving Multilateral System Reform. We will continue to promote the UN’s work on Sustainable Development, Peace & Security and Human Rights. Underpinning all our communications efforts will be a focus on Promoting Information Integrity.

The Priorities document is an internal document. It is not for posting externally, but it can be shared, with approval from OUSG DGC, with external partners.

The Forecast Grid is an internal document only for sharing with UN colleagues and not for posting externally.   Please contact Jon Greenway and Alexandre Soares  in my office with any questions.   All my best,   Melissa  Melissa Fleming Under-Secretary-General Department of Global Communications   Podcast

Yeah, podcast. We'll have more on this.
