SDNY COURTHOUSE, Feb 23 – Avi Mirman faces a trial with the SEC to start April 4, but for now he is representing himself.

On February 23, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Lorna G. Schofield held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.

A lawyer from Gibson Dunn appeared and made arguments - but has not filed a notice of appearance.

Judge Schofield said it was all interesting - she said she meant it sincerely - but noted the lack of a notice of appearance.

She wondered if there wouldn't be yet more requests for delay.

The case is Securities and Exchange Commission v. Genovese et al., 17-cv-5821 (Schofield)
