Honduran Woman Grabbed by ICE in 26 Federal Plaza and Groped Files SDNY Habeas Petition

SDNY COURTHOUSE, March 4 รข€“A Honduras woman who has been in the US since December 2023 was grabbed by ICE in 26 Federal Plaza in lower Manhattan on March 4.

The same day she filed a habeas corpus petition in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York, where Inner City Press found it. 

  The filing says that "Tte petitioner is a 29-year-old woman, an LBGTQ asylum seeker for honduras who fled persecution based on her sexual orientating... As soon as she left Immigration Judge Little's courtroom, mulltiple masked ICE offier grabbed her... one officer groped her breast." There is a photo.

  The case had still not been assigned out as of 11 pm on March 4.

This case is Garcia Montalban v. Genalo, et al., 1:26-cv-1808 (Unassigned)
