UN GATE, Sept 7 – How corrupt is today's UN under Antonio Guterres? Now with Guterres walking out of a PNG press conference refusing to answer questions about corruption, his staff tell Inner City Press things have hit a new low about which his spokespeople Stephane Dujarric and Melissa Fleming refuse all Press questions, including on the below, for days.
Inner City Press has asked them, and others, about the newest sex abuse case against the UN. This, from a UN whistleblower sent to Inner City Press:

We are writing to formally express our profound concern and dismay regarding the inclusion of Mr. Benoit Elie Bryche as a candidate for the positions of President and Vice-President of the United Nations Field Staff Union (UNFSU), as announced in the recent all-staff communication.
The concerns center on a serious incident that reportedly occurred while Mr. Bryche, a national of France, was serving as a P-3 Security Officer with the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) in Mopti. During the COVID-19 lockdown period, Mr. Bryche was allegedly discovered in his UN office, during official working hours, engaged in a sexual act with a cleaning lady, who was employed as a local contractor. This incident was witnessed and reported by a fellow staff member. As you may know, the alleged actions of Mr. Bryche constitute multiple, serious breaches...
Mr. Bryche was reportedly moved between various posts within the mission in an apparent effort to suppress the scandal. Conversely, the staff member who reported the misconduct was allegedly transferred and promoted to a different agency, a move perceived as a means to ensure their silence.
We demand that you take the following immediate actions: Suspend the Candidacy: Provisionally suspend Mr. Benoit Elie Bryche from the electoral ballot pending a full and transparent investigation into these allegations. Initiate an Inquiry: Launch an immediate and impartial inquiry into the matter to verify the facts and confirm Mr. Bryche’s suitability to hold any position of trust within the Staff Union.
