SDNY COURTHOUSE, April 26 –   Antonio Guterres was reported to have ordered groups to move out of DR Congo, and soon UN peacekeepers were burning down thatch houses in the east of that country.

His MONUSCO Mission sent out of photo of a Guatamalan UN Peacekeepers setting fire to a house, with another apparently from Bangladesh next to him.

Then MONUSCO uselessly ordered the photo "recalled."

Inner City Press asked UN Spokespeople Stephane Dujarric, Eri Kaneko, Farhan Haq and Melissa Fleming in writing to explain why UN peacekeepers were burning down houses and bragging about it. There was no answer.

The answer came from a Twitter account apparently belonging to a Nepali UN peacekeeper, proud of the carnage, and retweeting Chinese government material. This is today's UN.
