SDNY COURTHOUSE, April 22
-- Three employees of a
Malaysia based telecommunications company have been
arrested and are being presented - and released - in the
U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Inner City Press has found their cases in the SDNY
Magistrates Court.
They are accused
of telling the Malaysia parent company they were selling
more broadband capacity than they were to US customers -
then reselling the rest. They were fired in February 2026
and now arrested.
Two were
presented in SDNY Mag Court on April 22 and released on
bond, in one case secured by a property in Falls Church,
Virginia. The third defendant is due to be presented on
April 23.
