Exclusive, July 3 – UN peacekeepers' rapes of those they are supposed to protect have escalated under current Secretary General Antonio Guterres.
His spokesman Stephane Dujarric refuses to answer Inner City Press questions about it, for example on June 8, 2023, see below.
Meanwhile the UN's "Sexual Violence on Conflict" office, which does nothing about the UN peacekeepers' sexual abuse of those they are ostensibly protecting, is caught on a scandal triggered by a Pramilla Patten interview. From the case submitted to UN's flaccid internal oversight, among the leaks to Inner City Press has been Patten's internal email about Ukraine, which on June 22, 2023 we put online here.
Now with the UN in full cover up mode we have more: the internal complaint about Patten, among other things, writing self-serving official letters to UN Resident Coordinators to score VIP airport treatment and UN vehicles for her personal trips and vacations and, in typical UN (Guterres-like) nepotism, for her son. See complaint exclusively published by Inner City Press here.
Earlier:
It was sent to Geraldine Boezio, Chloé Marnay-Baszanger, Brit-o-phile Letitia Anderson, Tonderai Chikuhwa, Bernadette Sene and filmmaker Nancee Oku Bright. What have these people done about UN rapes - and Guterres' ban on the Press that asks? Pending application to re-enter, here.
Inner City Press' still unanswered question: "June 8-1: Immediately provide all if-asked information on the new UN sex abused cases cynically data dumped June 7 at 12:02 pm, involving UN "peacekeepers" from South Africa, Malawi and Guatemala including child rape, what if anything has been done for the victims - and why while Ban Ki-moon provided Press with such info, each of you has refused, UN rape after UN rape."
These are crimes, a systematic trafficking of sex offenders to failed states where they continue their abuse - and Guterres is at the top of the pyramid, complicit.
