Rapper Taxstone Now On Trial for Troy Ave Shooting and Murder of McFadder in 2016

SDNY COURTHOUSE, March 2 – The rapper Taxstone, Darryl Campbell, is on trial for the May 25, 2016 murder of Ronald McFadder and shooting of rapper Troy Ave, Roland Collins. 

 On March 2, 2023, Inner City Press went to cover the trial in 111 Centre Street, before Judge Abraham Clott.

A Medical Examiner was on the witness stand, testifying on direct about bullet wounds to Roland Collins' legs, and the autopsy of Ronald McFadder. 

On cross examination she acknowledge she had not done the autopsy, and asked a series of what-if questions about a video of the incident.

At 4 pm Judge Clott called it a day, and a week. Subsequent Collect Pond Park stand-up video here 

 After the jury left Taxstone was handcuffed behind his back and led out.
