SDNY COURTHOUSE, March 22 –  After a circus-like civil case involving Guo Wengui in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, which Inner City Press closely covered, here, March 15, 2023 saw the unsealing of a twelve-count Indictment charging

HO WAN KWOK, a/k/a “Miles Guo,” a/k/a “Miles Kwok,” a/k/a “Guo Wengui,” a/k/a “Brother Seven,” a/k/a “The Principal,” and KIN MING JE, a/k/a “William Je,”

Not mentioned was another, related arrest on March 15, of Guo's chief of staff Yangping Wang, aka Yvette Wang. Inner City Press, lone media in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Magistrates Court, live tweeted her presentment when the prosecutors, seemingly hoping to flip her as a cooperator, offered release on $5 million bond, but only with two co-signers they approve.

On March 22, Inner City Press was again the only media in the SDNY Magistrates Court when Yvette Wang, with US Marshals, and her two lawyers showed up, complaining that a proposed suretor with a $2.5 million property was rejected. Afterward Inner City Press asked Wang's lawyer Alex Lipman to confirm it is or was Steve Bannon. He said, "We're not going to answer."  Inner City Press' vlog, and live tweeted thread here:

OK- now Guo Wengui's chief of staff Yvette Wang is back in SDNY Magistrates Court, there was no public notice of this appearance (and no Victims' Rights filing) - Inner City Press is the only media here

AUSA Murray: Wang gave five names of co-signers, but have not found 2 we approve. Wang's lawyer: We gave 9 names. Judge Netburn: I'm not inclined to overrule my colleague. And I have no names or info.

Wang's lawyer: My client is a political asylum seeker... Wang's lawyer: Her only friends are in the movement. Judge: She's been in the US since 2017. Wang's lawyer: We have a person well known in the US willing to put up $2.5 million property. [Hmmm...]

Judge: The US turned down the $2.5 offeror? Wang's lawyer: Yes, he has some legal problems. [Inner City Press: could it be Steve Bannon?]

AUSA Murray: This is premature. There is a process. I don't want to get into the names, but the person offering the $2.5 million property was involved in Guo's frauds [See previous tweet: Steve Bannon?]

AUSA Murray: They proposed a lawyer who represents 3 of the entities involved in the fraud. For the court to evaluate, you will need all information from the people, the source of funds. [Bannon?]

Wang's lawyer: Beyond the $2.5M man, we have a lawyer who practices in Chicago...We have an I.T. professional who is not Chinese... Her best friend us Guo's daughter. They rejected her best friend's boyfriend

AUSA: All three are victims. They have no moral suasion - they were already victimized by Guo and Wang. Wang's lawyer: They are part of the movement. Judge: I won't direct the US to accept miscellaneous John Does. You need to provide the  more info about Mr $2.5M

Wang's lawyer: The turned down the $2.5M man because they don't like him.

They are trying to keep her in to pressure her to be their friend.
