SDNY COURTHOUSE, June 2 –  Jeffrey Soberman Parket has been arraigned on, and is seeking to settle, criminal charges of wire fraud for taking out over $50 million in fraudulent loans.

On June 2, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil held a conference. Inner City Press went and covered it.

Parket's lawyer said his client is trying to reach a pre-trial resolution - that is, a plea - and so doesn't want or need discovery at this time.

Judge Vykocil set a conference for August 23. If there is no plea, discovery produced by September 19 and motions by October 11.

The case is US v. Parket, 22-cr-311 (Vyskocil)
