SDNY COURTHOUSE, Oct 10 – Yohance Stewart and Theresa Hutchinson sued Salal Credit Union and Kamtech Solutions for identity theft.
On October 8 U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Ronnie Abrams held held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.
The plaintiffs say a fraudster used their personal information to open an account with Salal Credit Union.
Meanwhile, they entertained a sale pitch by Kamtech for solar panels, but never agreed. But their information was taken, and used. Their lawyer opposed any stay of discovery.
The case is Stewart et al v. Kamtech Solutions Corp. et al., 21-cv-1800 (Abrams)
