SDNY COURTHOUSE, Oct 21 – Tasty Ribbon LLC, described as a one-employee firm that sells Italian tea and salami over the Internet, has been sued for having an allegedly inaccessible website.

On October 21 U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Lewis J. Liman held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.

Judge Liman said he has seen many such cases, based on how the law is structured.

He suggested to Tasty Ribbon's lawyer that he enter mediation to keep down the attorneys fees that are often paid.

Tasty Ribbon's lawyer said his client found this ridiculous. Speed, Judge Liman said, is what will keep the fees down.

The case is Sanchez v. Tasty Ribbon LLC, 21-cv-4730 (Liman)
