Baram Was Sued For Delivering Jane Doe to Nygard Now Vows to Depose Her 7 Hours

SDNY COURTHOUSE, Oct 7 – Jonathan Baram has been sued for "sex trafficking Jane Doe to Peter J. Nygard." He has responded, the plaintiffs complain, by threatening to publish the name of his accuser and to depose her for seven hours or more.  

On October 7 U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Edgardo Ramos held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.  

The plaintiff's complaint says Baram "lured, enticed, recruited and transported Jane Doe to Nygard's apartment...Upon competition of the rape, Baram then transported Jane Doe back to his private apartment where he also sexually battered Jane Doe."  

 Plaintiff's counsel said they want to forego any discovery and go straight trial. Baram said that is a strategy is is not giving in to, "Nosireebob."

 He said he has a right to depose Jane Doe. He asked why he can't be John Doe.

But the case is Doe v. Baram et al., 20-cv-9522 (Ramos)
