SDNY COURTHOUSE, August 26 – The FTC has sued to compel Manatt, Phelps & Phillips LLP to produce information for use in the FTC's litigation against and about Burton Katz and Acquinity Interactive, LLC.
On August 26 U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Lorna G. Schofield held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.
Manatt argued that the FTC was aiming for the email accounts of administrative assistance, and wanted a cap on how many.
Judge Schofield ordered them to produce the documents by September 9 for just two, Linda Goldstein and Holly Melton, as well as seven contested document unless objected to by BakerHostetler or Boies Schiller on the basis of attorney-client privilege.
The case is Federal Trade Commission v. Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP, 21-mc-466 (Schofield)
