SDNY COURTHOUSE, July 27 –  Preston Hollow Capital has sued Nuveen over, along other things, bonds Wells Fargo underwrote for Roosevelt University.

On July 27, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge P. Kevin Castel held an oral argument. Inner City Press covered it.

In the complaint, Preston Hollow says "Nuveen assured Wells Fargo that other broker-dealers would be punished for working with Preston Hollow," and as threatening Deutsche Bank.

Judge Castel inquired into the distinctions between underwriter and broker-dealer, then reserved decision.

The case is Preston Hollow Capital LLC v. Nuveen LLC et al., 20-cv-5597 (Castel)
