FEDERAL COURT, May 18 – Minutes into a break in the impeachment trial in the U.S. Senate, accused insurrectionist Domenic Pezzola was ordered detained until trial by Magistrate Judge Robin M. Meriweather. Inner City Press live tweeted it, below. There was an appeal.

OMay 18months after the DC Circuit's decision in US v. Munchel, Judge Meriweather held a couple of proceedings including with Ohio's John Douglas Wright. Inner City Press live tweeted it here:

Wright initially had publicly-funded counsel but has now retained him.

He reportedly said, "“Yesterday wasn’t the end. Yesterday was the first battle of the war. I promise you.”

DOJ is not asking for detention - but wants judge to order that he "not use Facebook during the pendency of this case."

Wright's now-retained lawyer says he doesn't object to the no-Facebook condition, says his client is in the "charter bus industry."

Assistant US Attorney: The US does not object to travel within Northern and Southern District of Ohio.

With that, the next proceeding is set for May 24, with Speedy Trial Act time excluded until then

After the proceeding, research finds that Wright is the agent and registrar for D AND L Charter, an interstate freight and trucking company that opened in 2011. But what about no Facebook? Watch this site. And, podcast here

We will have more on this.
