Do Kwon Extradition OKed by Montenegro Amid SDNY indictment, SEC v Terraform Labs by Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Book Substack SDNY COURTHOUSE, Sept 8 –     Owners of cars "disappeared" under NYC's Rotation Tow program for not having inspection or registration stickers on the windshields filed a Constitutional case against the City and the towing comany in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.   On September 8 District Judge Loretta A. Preska held a hearing. Inner City Press covered it.   The towing company did not appear; the City's lawyer said he intends to move to dismiss. Judge Preska asked where the cars have been taken. The two sides agreed to confer on that.   Complaint included BBB files on Bande Automative LCC, and an article about similar issues with Clutch Towing in Brooklyn and Five J's Automative LLC, citing NYC's rate cap of $125 for towing a car away and $27 a day for storage.  The case is Whitter, et al., v.
