100 CENTRE STREET, Aug 28 – A woman from the South Bronx pleaded guilty on Thursday to four theft-related counts, including identity theft from Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity.
Also named as victims were Wells Fargo and JP Morgan Chase, a customer of Navy Federal Credit Union and the Department of Labor.
The Manhattan District Office's offer involves no prison time.
Her lawyer said she has already started in on her 100 hours of community service, then came to the back of Justice Felicia Mennin's courtroom, where Inner City Press was covering the early afternoon cases, and handed his client, in shorts, the paperwork.
She is due back in to report on progress on December 4.
